Jerry Lee Pope, age 69, of Mooresville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 31, 2018. Jerry was an Army veteran where he served our country in Vietnam from 1968-1970. He was a musician who enjoyed playing many instruments especially his base fiddle. Preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Gene and Lloyd Pope. Survivors include his sister, Cecilia (Grant) Gilmer of Cornelius; brother, Frank (Judy) Pope of Richmond Virginia.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Friday, August 3, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society. Ingram Funeral Home & Cremation Society in Mooresville is serving the family.
